For the Medical site in Grenchen, we are looking for a customer-oriented and initiative personality as Head Quality & HSE (m/w/d) – MedTech Your main tasks Leadership & Organization: Leadership and further development of the Quality & HSE department Ensuring a high-performance organization, promoting employees, and actively shaping a quality and safety culture Responsibility for budget, resource, and personnel planning in agreement with the Plant Director Quality Management & Compliance: Overall responsibility for the quality management system as well as compliance with all relevant standards, regulatory requirements, and customer requirements (ISO 13485, 15378, 9001, 14971, 14001) Ensuring effective processes in the areas of complaint management, CAPA, change management, risk and document management Supporting departments in quality-related issues as well as in customer and supplier requirements Planning, conducting, and accompanying internal and external audits as well as ensuring the sustainable implementation of measures Analyzing and reporting quality key figures and initiating continuous improvement and optimization projects Ensuring effective testing, measurement, and production control processes to meet the highest quality standards Health, Safety & Environment (HSE): Responsibility for environmental, health, and safety management at the site Ensuring compliance with legal requirements as well as the requirements according to ISO 14001 and internal guidelines Promoting a safe, sustainable, and responsible working environment Stakeholder Management Contact person for customers, suppliers, authorities, and certification bodies Ensuring a transparent flow of information as well as regular reporting of relevant key figures (site-related and to the group) Your profile Technical or scientific degree (FH/University) or equivalent education Further training in quality management or regulatory affairs is mandatory Several years of leadership experience in quality management of a regulated industrial environment such as MedTech, Pharma, or Life Sciences In-depth knowledge of relevant standards and regulatory requirements (in particular ISO 13485, ISO 15378, ISO 14971, and ISO 14001) Experience in dealing with audits, CAPA processes, risk analyses, and validations Proven experience in leading and developing employees Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented way of working Assertive personality with high communication and social skills Very good German and English language skills in word and writing Working at Adval Tech Interesting work content with a large scope for design - at the forefront of global megatrends Your work has a direct impact - on products, processes, and our company's success Directly reporting to the Plant Director and member of the local Leadership Team Agile, established, and motivated team Attractive pension fund (e.g. no coordination deduction) We will answer questions about this interesting vacancy via email: Are you the sought-after personality?
