The Service de l'énergie et de l'environnement (SENE) - Section eaux et sols is looking for a Chemical Engineer 70% to 90% SENE70 SENE - Section eaux et sols You will join a motivated team, committed to the protection and quality control of surface and groundwater, discharges from wastewater treatment plants (water and sludge), air, and soil. Your missions Reporting to the "Eaux et sols" section, you will manage, with the support of the section head, all laboratory activities, accredited ISO 17025, mainly in the field of analytical chemistry. Thanks to your experience, you will actively participate in maintaining the laboratory's accreditation, particularly in the process from sample reception to the validation of results. Furthermore, you will organize analysis programs and the outsourcing of analyses according to sampling campaigns. You are proficient in sample preparation methods and the use of database management systems (DBMS). Additionally, you analyze results as a whole and participate in the preparation of reports on water quality. Finally, in support of the laboratory manager, you will ensure the operational management of the lab as well as the supervision and training of the team, particularly apprentices. Your profile Holder of a master's degree in chemistry or a degree deemed equivalent, you have at least three years of experience in laboratory work. You possess good practical knowledge in the use of ICP, HPLC, GC devices and techniques for identifying trace compounds by mass spectrometry. Furthermore, you are proficient in French, both spoken and written, and also have knowledge of German to exchange with specialists at the Swiss level. Thanks to your capacity for analysis and synthesis, you anticipate needs and implement procedures that are both simple and efficient.
