Le CPI (Centre de Perfectionnement Interprofessionnel), based in Fribourg since 1986, is a public continuous training center for adults. We offer more than 250 courses, prepare for federal certificates and diplomas, and also manage training schemes commissioned by the public employment service as well as by the AI Office of the canton. Certified ISO 21001:2018, we place quality, adaptability and professional support for adults at the heart of our mission.   For our language training department, we are looking for a department manager.   The French and German training offer is aimed at various adult audiences and combines several regulations: labor market measures (MMT) commissioned by the Service public de l'emploi (SPE) for job seekers, fide French courses and French courses intended for migrant persons with an integration objective, as well as courses for individuals and companies. The position combines the leadership of a team of 2 training managers and about a dozen occasional trainers. The leadership share is estimated at 30-40%. Your missions • Lead, develop and represent the Languages department • Develop an innovative training offer meeting the needs of the market and partners • Guarantee the quality of services in accordance with the CPI management system (ISO 21001:2018) and the requirements of clients • Ensure budgetary management, monitoring of indicators and continuous improvement • Supervise and support training managers, as well as occasional trainers, and support the development of their skills • Evaluate pedagogical practices • Design, in collaboration with the team, in-person, remote and hybrid training arrangements • Deliver training in French and/or German and support learners until they achieve their objectives Desired profile • Higher vocational training or training deemed equivalent • Federal diploma of adult trainer (or title deemed equivalent), or willing to obtain it quickly • Proven experience in adult training, ideally in language teaching • Experience in team leadership or demonstrated aptitude to exercise a management function • Strong pedagogical skills and ability to support the professional development of trainers • Mastery of digital training tools and usual IT tools • Knowledge of labor market measures (MMT), the fide framework or linguistic certifications constitutes an asset • Spirit of initiative, sense of organization, leadership, ability to unite teams and quality orientation • Bilingual French / German (oral and written) Contact details Nicolas Gelmi, Directeur CPI T +41 26 305 27 94,
