This is what you can achieve. • You prepare passenger trains for their journey, carry out shunting movements on train compositions and drive various traction vehicles with a top speed of 30 km/h in a limited area around the station to the defined starting point. • During shunting movements, you monitor the route and ensure safety. • You create driving readiness, enter data into safety and information systems and carry out brake tests. • You rectify minor defects or malfunctions on the vehicle yourself if possible, or report them using the prescribed instruments to the responsible department. • Deployments as a shunting specialist (Ai40) in full shifts are a matter of course for you. You couple and uncouple rail vehicles, control individual shunting movements and reposition train compositions. You can find out more about the profession here. This is what you bring. • For this demanding work in 24-hour shift operation, you are physically and mentally resilient and enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions. • In your daily work, you operate, among other things, a tablet. Handling modern work tools is no problem for you. • You have completed basic training (at least EBA) and ideally have completed an apprenticeship. Additionally, you already have professional experience in the skilled trades, logistics or a comparable field. • In German, you have very good knowledge in word and writing. • You have impeccable color vision (no red/green weakness)
