In Yverdon-les-Bains, you will join a close-knit team of 3 project managers, working in direct collaboration with our works manager and management. This proximity guarantees fluid exchanges and true consistency between design and field implementation. We primarily work on projects related to: Steel structures and frameworks Technical platforms and welded structures Industrial installations (silos, piping, production lines) Custom metal architectural elements Building facades and envelopes Aluminum joinery (doors, windows, glass partitions, verandas) Your role Integrated into the design office, you are the main technical reference for our steel construction and industrial structure projects. You take charge of producing technical plans in this environment, from design to manufacturing files, while utilizing your knowledge of buildings when projects require interfaces with the main structure or envelopes. You are a daily support to the project managers, present in the office and capable of intervening on-site for measurements or technical verifications. Your main responsibilities • Creation of 2D/3D plans: steel structures and frameworks, technical platforms, stairs, railings, welded structures, and industrial installations • 3D modeling and elaboration of detail plans, assembly plans, bills of materials (BOM), and workshop documents • Definition of assemblies (bolted, welded) and constructive details in compliance with standards • Integration of assembly, handling, and building interface constraints • Updating plans according to project evolution and site feedback • Site visits for measurements and technical monitoring • Daily support to project managers throughout the business life cycle • Participation in technical reviews and continuous improvement of methods • Compliance with applicable standards (Eurocodes steel, tolerances, steel construction and industry standards) Profile sought: • We are looking for a steel construction specialist, equipped with a solid technical background and capable of understanding interfaces with the building sector. • Technical training in steel construction, boilermaking, locksmithing, mechanical engineering, or equivalent • Minimum 3 years of experience in drafting within the steel construction sector, ideally on: frameworks, structures, platforms, welded structures, or industrial installations • Mastery of AutoCAD (essential base) and Inventor • Knowledge of other CAD tools (2D/3D) is an asset • Basic knowledge of buildings (joinery, facades, envelopes) is a real asset for understanding interfaces • Ability to read }
