Head of Residential Home (m/w/d) - of the Catholic Student House Basel

The Jesuits accompany young people from home and abroad in their studies in Basel on a Christian basis. The residential home at Herbergsgasse 7 offers 75 students in the heart of Basel affordable living space and a place of community, exchange, intercultural coexistence, and the opportunity to engage with the Christian faith. We are looking for Head of Residential Home (m/w/d) - of the Catholic Student House Basel Scope of work: 70 % Start: immediately or by arrangement Your tasks • You lead and organize the residential home operation: You manage the process of allocation and the conclusion of rental agreements. • You care for the students of the residential home and promote community life. • You lead the Cleanteam (three employees). • You work together with the head of the Catholic Student House on a housing project for a Christian shared flat and joint events.   • You work together  with the property management and coordinate craftsmen's work on site.   • You take on administrative and financial responsibility. Your profile • You have a degree in social work, pedagogy, or theology and/or CAS / MAS in business management, hospitality management, or NPO management.   • You have several years of experience working with young people and students and are familiar with the education or social sector. • You enable others to develop and set boundaries. • You work independently and structured. You speak fluent German and have good English skills.
