With our vehicle fleet, we carry out freight transports, distribution transports, construction transports, heavy transports, and special transports. Our fleet includes semi-trailers and articulated vehicles for the transport of food, tippers, mixers, and concrete pumps for construction material transports, as well as special vehicles for the transport of construction machinery, construction elements, and oversized plants. Our versatile company has 25 employees and is managed bilingually. For the full-time position as a dispatcher, which encompasses the demanding, varied, and responsible tasks of transport planning, employee coordination, and customer service, we are looking for a person with the necessary skills and work experience. Tasks Transport dispatching: • Plan, organize, and monitor transports. • Create efficient tour schedules and transport plans. Customer service, sales, and marketing: • Advise customers competently and maintain relationships with customers. • Calculate prices for transports and create offers. • Analyze customer needs and evaluate the service offering. • Collect key figures and create post-calculations for transports. Operational organization: • Design work processes in the company efficiently and safely. • Ensure compliance with regulations for occupational safety, health, and environment. • Ensure internal company communication and prepare meetings. • Perform quality controls for transport services. Mitarbeiterführung (Employee Leadership) • Create deployment plans for drivers. • Instruct, coordinate, and lead employees and teams. • Contribute to a friendly and professional working atmosphere. Your profile Required experience • Several years of work experience as a dispatcher or in a comparable position. • Several years of experience in leading employees. • Several years of experience in customer service. Required knowledge and skills • Good knowledge of the road transport industry, especially in the transport of food, consumer goods, and construction materials. • Technical understanding of transport processes and relevant truck types. • Good knowledge of the legal regulations for heavy goods vehicles. • Very good German and French skills in speaking and writing. • Strong leadership competence and communicative skills in professional interaction with employees. • Service orientation in customer care and entrepreneurial flair. • Basic knowledge of business administration, marketing, and accounting. • Solid computer skills in standard applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel as well as programs for transport dispatching. • Sense of duty, flexibility, and resilience in personal work organization. • Interest and willingness to develop the operations of Aeby Transporte AG long-term together with the management.
