Electrical Engineer (m/w/d) – Temporary with prospect of permanent employment For our client in the Appenzell area, we are looking for a reliable and motivated Electrical Engineer (m/w/d) for a food production facility, available immediately or by agreement. Tasks • Ensuring the technical availability of production, packaging, and conveyor systems in the food industry • Carrying out maintenance, inspection, and repair work on machines and electrical systems • Independent analysis and rectification of malfunctions to minimize production downtime • Installation, commissioning, and optimization of production systems • Support with conversions, expansions, and technical projects • Compliance with hygiene, quality, safety, and food standards (HACCP) • Documentation of work carried out and malfunctions that have occurred • Participation in on-call duty to ensure smooth production operations Requirements • Completed training as an electrician EFZ, automation engineer EFZ, electrical engineer or a comparable technical training • Experience in maintaining production systems, ideally in the food industry • Knowledge in the areas of control, drive, and automation technology is an advantage • Independent, reliable, and solution-oriented work • High quality and hygiene awareness • Willingness to perform on-call duty • Good German language skills in word and writing • Driver's license category B
