Ittigen, Suisse (and home office) \| 70-70% What you can contribute <br /> • Inform and alert authorities and the population in case of flood or drought • Guarantee the quality of hydrological models in the operational forecasting system • Complement the team with your solid experience of machine learning models applied to forecasts • Develop strategies and plans aimed at evolving the range of models and forecasting systems used • Bring innovative ideas for the development of new products • Participate in the work of national and international bodies <br /> What makes you unique <br /> • Degree from a higher education institution in hydrology or environmental sciences or recognized equivalent training and experience in the field of hydrological models • In-depth knowledge of machine learning models • Proven experience in managing projects involving complex computer systems • Good IT knowledge related to the management of large data packets • Good active knowledge of at least a second official language and, ideally, knowledge of the third; good active knowledge of English • Willingness to perform on-call duties, notably on weekends <br /> In a few words Commit yourself to flood and drought alerting and participate in the technical development of the field.
