Shipping Operator

We are looking for a Shipping Operator to join our team. This is a key operational role for someone with strong maritime experience, excellent coordination skills and the ability to manage complex voyages in a fast-moving international environment.

You have a minimum of 3 years’ seagoing experience as an Officer on gas carriers, ideally LPG or LNG vessels.

You will thrive in this role if you:

• Have solid experience in maritime operations, shipping or fleet management
• Have a strong understanding of voyage operations and the maritime environment
• Are familiar with shipping contracts, operational processes and voyage execution
• Are rigorous, reactive and able to manage multiple priorities under time pressure
• Have strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
• Communicate clearly and effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
• Demonstrate team spirit, reliability and a strong sense of commitment
• Are comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment across different time zones
• Are fluent in English; any additional language is a plus

What you will do :

As a Shipping Operator, you will coordinate daily shipping operations and ensure the safe, efficient and compliant execution of voyages from pre-fixture to post-voyage.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating and monitoring vessel operations across the full voyage lifecycle
• Acting as a key point of contact with shipowners, charterers, agents and internal stakeholders
• Working closely with Trading, Chartering, Technical, Vetting and other support functions
• Ensuring voyage execution in line with contractual terms, operational requirements and internal procedures
• Optimizing voyages for chartered vessels, taking into account safety, efficiency, timing and cost
• Monitoring operational performance, incidents, delays and associated costs
• Supporting risk management and ensuring compliance with HSE standards
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of operational processes and ways of working
