Zollikofen, Switzerland (and home office) | 80-100% What you can contribute • Plan and supervise the use of databases; define system requirements • Ensure the availability, operation, automation, engineering, and re-engineering of PostgreSQL databases and related platforms • Design PostgreSQL databases and implement them on different operating systems and hardware infrastructures • Take responsibility for troubleshooting, optimization, and continuous operation; design migration plans in preparation for a version upgrade or the implementation of a new version or other database software • Develop systems and applications based on a logical design; advise and provide assistance regarding database technology and operation; prepare and conduct workshops, write technical documentation <br /> What makes you unique • CFC as an IT specialist with a specialization in platform development and/or specialized training as an Oracle database manager; ideally, good knowledge of Oracle databases • Proven knowledge of operating systems and scripting languages (e.g., SQL, PSQL, Shell, Perl, Ansible), practical experience in backup and recovery; ideally, expertise in the field of database automation (Ansible, Bash, etc.) • Sense of communication and cooperation; team spirit and desire to discover new technologies; logical and analytical reasoning, autonomy • Experience in technical project management or as a scrum master, an asset; desire to work with full autonomy within a motivated and highly competent team • Very good command of two official languages and, ideally, knowledge of English <br /> In a few words Do you want to take on a new challenge that will allow you to leverage your knowledge and skills in relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL and Oracle?
