The AMB is an agency with around 50 employees within the Security Directorate of the canton of Basel-Landschaft. The AMB is responsible for the deployments of the Civil Protection Task Force, the training in civil protection as well as for personnel and management in civil defense. Administrative tasks include, among other things, army tasks on behalf of the federal government or the operation of the Liestal barracks. Furthermore, deployment and precaution planning are created at the AMB, as well as logistics and administrative services are provided.
