Your tasks Independent processing of international sea freight import shipments Organization and monitoring of the entire transport chain from order to delivery Communication with customers, shipping lines, agents, customs authorities and international partners worldwide Obtaining, comparing and following up on freight offers Creation and control of all transport, freight and customs documents Schedule monitoring and ensuring smooth transport processing Processing of complaints and development of customer-oriented solutions Control and processing of incoming and outgoing invoices Maintenance of shipment and customer data in the forwarding system Close cooperation with internal specialist departments and international branches After careful induction, you will additionally take on tasks in sea freight export and develop professionally Your profile Completed commercial training in international forwarding logistics Several years of professional experience in international sea freight import Initial experience in sea freight export is an advantage, but not a requirement Good knowledge of international transport processes as well as import and export documentation Experience in customs clearance is an advantage Confident handling of MS Office as well as a forwarding program Independent, structured and reliable way of working High customer and service orientation Organizational talent and networked thinking Team player, resilient and flexible personality Very good German and good English skills in spoken and written form Our customer offers 40 hour week A varied activity in an international environment A thorough induction and the possibility to also develop further in the area of sea freight export in the medium term Modern working conditions and attractive employment conditions A collegial team with short decision-making paths Long-term perspectives and further training opportunities
