What the company offers • An exciting task in a modern and international mechanical engineering environment • Participation in high-quality systems for demanding production processes • Responsibility over the entire life cycle of machines and software solutions • Work with modern automation platforms, engineering tools, and safety standards • Versatile projects with PLC, HMI, safety, and drive technology • Collaboration in a competent and committed automation team • Opportunity to actively improve and automate development processes • Occasional customer assignments with manageable travel activity of approx. 10 percent • A technologically exciting environment with high quality and safety requirements • Long-term perspective in an innovative industrial company Our customer requests Completed studies in the field of automation at Bachelor, Diploma, or Master level • Several years of experience in the project planning and commissioning of Siemens and Rockwell controllers • Experience with safety technology and unit tests in the Digital Twin • Experience in mechanical engineering, ideally in the food industry • Good knowledge in the automation of development processes • Confident handling of Profinet, Profisafe, Ethernet, CIP Safety, and IO-Link • Experience with visualization and drive technology • Knowledge of tools such as Azure DevOps, Git, SourceTree, Softema, Sistema, E-Plan, and TeamViewer is an advantage • Good understanding of relevant norms and standards such as CE and UL • Good German and English skills • Further language skills are an advantage • Willingness to travel for commissioning at the customer of approx. 10 percent • Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented way of working • Enjoyment of teamwork, technical challenges, and high-quality automation solutions Call, Click & Work What awaits you • Development, programming, and support of machine controllers over the entire life cycle • Programming of machine controllers with Siemens and Rockwell • Parameterization and integration of frequency converters from various manufacturers • Implementation of results from risk analyses in the safety software • Programming, verification, and validation according to DIN EN ISO 13849 for PLr a to e • Development of reliable PLC, HMI, and safety solutions • Checking of electrical schematics • Participation in design documents and functional descriptions • Support of versioning and the software release process • Ensuring compliance with relevant norms and standards • Supporting support with technical questions • Occasional support on-site at the location as well as remote • Participation in the continuous improvement of automation solutions and development processes • Close cooperation with internal specialist departments and project teams • A responsible engineering task with technical depth and international relevance Does it sound like a task in which you can ideally combine automation, software engineering, and mechanical engineering?
