Department of Economics, Social Affairs and Environment Your tasks Supporting people In the LIV Day Structure Outdoor, you will care for adults with cognitive impairments and challenging behavior - often in combination with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASS). Working in nature Our daily routine takes place in the forest - regardless of the weather. We cook together over a fire, keep paths clean, or produce firewood. In addition, we accompany the clients during the transition between the residential home and the day structure. Shaping everyday life You are responsible for planning and implementing offers in the forest setting as well as instructing 2-3 clients. Additionally, you are responsible for administrative tasks, including maintaining the digital client file. Developing perspectives As a valuable member of an interdisciplinary team, you will work towards the individual needs of our clients. You will specifically promote their abilities, create development goals, and participate in the annual needs assessment. Your profile Experience You are skilled in dealing with people with disabilities, ideally also with challenging behavior. Possession of a category B driver's license is an advantage. Personality You are weather-resistant, enjoy working in nature, and approach clients with empathy, openness, and respect. Even in demanding care situations or emergencies, you remain calm, act sovereignly, and convey security. Education You have completed training as a specialized care professional EFZ or have a SRK or DRK course in the field of care and support. Language You have a secure command of the German language and communicate clearly, empathetically, and in a target-group-oriented manner.
