Workload 100% Contract permanent Start date immediately or by arrangement Tasks You ensure the stable, secure and performant operation of our Linux-based system and platform landscape together with internal teams and external partners You continuously operate, monitor and further develop our infrastructure and platform services You actively participate in company-wide infrastructure and network projects and contribute your experience in design, implementation and operation You take responsibility in incident, problem and change management and independently analyze disturbances down to the system and network level You advise application managers in the areas of Linux systems, network infrastructure, platform architecture and security and act as a technical interface to development and operation You maintain our system and network technical documentation and ensure its currency and availability Requirements You have a completed IT education or several years of professional experience as a Linux System Engineer / Administrator Ideally, you have sound knowledge in the operation of Oracle Linux systems You have a strong network affinity and are well-versed in the following topics: LAN / WLAN, Switching & Routing, Cisco networks, authentication and access mechanisms (e.g., 802.1X) You have experience in dealing with container and platform environments (RedHat OpenShift, Docker, Podman) You automate recurring tasks with Ansible and scripting (e.g., Bash, ) You have experience with virtualization technologies, backup and storage solutions (e.g., Veeam) You move confidently in heterogeneous IT environments and have no hesitation with: Microsoft technologies (Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server/Clients, AD, Exchange, Teams, VoIP) as well as Git You have a quick grasp of technical contexts and have user knowledge of the Atlassian Cloud Suite You speak German; French and/or Italian skills are an advantage What we offer We offer you a modern, dynamic working environment in which you can contribute your skills and your personality every day and thus make a difference.
