The Justizvollzugsanstalt Bostadel is an independent public-law institution in the concordat of Northwest and Inner Switzerland with its own legal personality. It is operated by the cantons of Basel-Stadt and Zug and has 108 places in normal custody and 12 places in a security department. At the JVA Bostadel, around 90 employees are working, ensuring security within the institution and contributing to the meaningful employment and resocialization of the 120 prisoners. To complement our team, we offer a professionally supervised training position in an exciting and diverse field of activity with regulated working hours as of October 1, 2026, or by agreement. Praxis-Ausbildungsplatz Soziale Arbeit FH 60% - 80% (berufsbegleitend) ## This is your job - the tasks ### • You take over the social work case management of incarcerated persons under guidance • support incarcerated persons in personal and administrative matters • work with internal and external specialist offices • participate in the organization of educational and leisure activities • acquire in-depth knowledge of the organization, legal bases, and processes in the execution of sentences and actively shape the theory-practice transfer with What you bring - the requirements ### • Study place at a university of applied sciences for social work • Pronounced social competence and assertiveness • Resilient, team-capable, and reflective personality • Professional handling of proximity and distance • Interest in the special framework conditions and processes of the justice system • Foreign language skills desired • Impeccable reputation • Driver's license category B (The JVA Bostadel is not accessible by public transport) • Minimum age 25 years The start of training, duration (at least 1.5 years), and scope will be agreed upon individually.
