Die Dienststelle Informatik (DIIN) provides comprehensive IT services for the departments, courts, and schools of the Canton of Luzern. System Engineer on-Premises Plattform (a) # 100% | Luzern | Homeoffice möglich ## Your tasks • Lifecycle management of our on-premises infrastructure (Server, Storage & Backup): Proactive planning, budgeting, and timely renewal of systems • Engineering and operation of the backup infrastructure including ensuring recoverability (restore tests) • Operation and further development of the storage infrastructure • Operation, maintenance, and further development of our Windows Server environment • Automation of recurring tasks with PowerShell • Patch management of the on-premises Windows Servers with Azure Update Manager • Creation and maintenance of operational documentation and standards • Participation in projects of the platform team as well as cooperation with suppliers and internal specialist departments • Analysis and rectification of disturbances in 2nd and 3rd level support Your profile For this function, we are looking for you as a conscientious, precisely working personality with a proactive way of thinking. You plan long-term, always keep the lifecycle of the systems entrusted to you in view, and value reliability and quality. You enjoy working in a team, communicate clearly, and take responsibility for your topics.
