Kitchen Assistant (m/w/d) for the Bar in Museumspark Bern (hourly wage)

Summer job with a view of the green For our popular bar in Museumspark Bern, we are looking for a motivated kitchen assistant (m/w/d) from July 2026, who will support our team in preparing and cooking our food offers. Your main deployments • Friday approx. 17.00 to 22.00 • Saturday approx. 11.30 to 22.00 Additional deployments during the week are possible and welcome after consultation. Your tasks • Preparation of pita bread and other mise-en-place work • Preparation of salads and cold dishes • Operating the grill • Frying halloumi and other snacks • General support in kitchen organization • Compliance with hygiene and quality standards What you bring • Pleasure in working with food • Initial experience in a kitchen or gastronomy is an advantage • No completed cooking training is required • Clean, reliable, and independent working method • Understanding of hygiene and order in the kitchen • Team spirit and resilience even with high guest traffic What to expect • Working in one of the most beautiful summer locations in Bern • A young, motivated team • Uncomplicated atmosphere and varied deployments • The possibility of taking on additional shifts Important to know The bar in Museumspark is weather-dependent. In bad weather, the operation is partially closed, which is why the deployments are planned flexibly.
