Mechanical Engineer*

Your tasks ## • Responsibility for planning, documentation, and monitoring of diverse maintenance and improvement work on our neutron sources • Coordination of demanding upgrade projects as well as participation in constructive concept development • Creation and review of manufacturing and testing instructions for complex mechanical plant components used in radiologically demanding environments • Coordination and alignment of mechanical work on the neutron sources with other technical service groups at PSI • Maintenance and supplementation of the existing plant documentation Your profile ## • University degree in mechanical engineering from a university of applied sciences or university • Several years of professional experience in the mechanical development of complex assemblies with CAD • Experience with components in the field of cryogenic and/or nuclear technology plants would be an advantage • Strong interest in familiarizing yourself with new topics as well as in technically demanding tasks • Independent, structured, and reliable way of working as well as good communication and teamwork skills • Networked thinking ability and enjoyment of working in an interdisciplinary environment • Business fluent German (C2) in speaking and writing as well as good English skills We offer ## Our institute is based on interdisciplinary, innovative, and dynamic cooperation.
