IT Application Manager*in, 80-100 %

To strengthen our IT team, we are looking for a committed and motivated personality as of 01.09.2026 or by arrangement. As a bridge builder, the IT department of the Support Sozialdepartement represents the interests of the Sozialdepartement (SD) towards the city-wide IT (OIZ), realizes IT solutions for its internal customers, plans and coordinates the IT infrastructure for the department and ensures the operation and support of the specialist applications in the SD. Tasks ## • You analyze, resolve and provide workarounds in the event of application disturbances and errors. • You ensure the incident and problem management processes in the 2nd/3rd level area. • Together with the team, you take responsibility for our specialist applications and manage IT systems, interfaces and peripheral systems. • You create technical documentation of the specialist applications, components as well as interfaces. • You support projects and releases, maintain close cooperation with the specialist departments, suppliers as well as the central IT OIZ and write customer-specific evaluations and statistics. Profile ## • Completed studies in informatics or a comparable education with sound practical experience in the IT environment • Several years of professional experience in 2nd or 3rd level • In-depth knowledge in MS SQL, MS Dynamics 365 as well as in the scripting language PowerShell or JavaScript, Microsoft Power Plattform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), Azure and SharePoint • Experience with financial processes / financial technology knowledge (payments in/out, interfaces, SAP Services) and user management processes • Flexible, committed and communicative personality with an independent, solution- and customer-oriented way of working   We offer ## A varied and challenging activity in an exciting environment, good employment conditions, a committed and motivated team as well as a workplace in the center of Zürich and the possibility to work from home.   Apply Apply About us ## With around 2400 employees, the Sozialdepartement of the city of Zürich commits itself daily to a social Zürich.
