Machine Design Engineer

• 21 July 2026 • 100% • Indefinite duration • Aigle You design equipment based on our customers' specifications, in close collaboration with the other relevant departments. You assume responsibility for the technical choices of your designs. You coordinate the operative part and the control part of your achievements. You perform pre-dimensioning calculations, take care of constructive aspects, and supervise the preparation of manufacturing drawings. You write the technical documentation and participate in manufacturing follow-up and testing. You carry out updates or improvements to existing machines. You perform risk analyses (FMECA) and functional analyses. What you bring: You hold a HES engineering degree or an ES technician degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent. You have at least 10 years of experience in heavy mechanical construction, accompanied by good knowledge of boilermaking, manufacturing techniques, welding, and machining. You are proactive in optimizing design work: cost reduction, improvement of performance and reliability. You are ready to take on technological challenges. You are inventive, autonomous, and possess good time and priority management. You have the ability to adapt in an evolving technological environment. You are proficient in 3D software, ideally CATIA V5. You express yourself easily in French and English and have mastered the written form.
