Maintain mechanics Check oil, cooling and brake systems, check and refill fluid levels Check condition of tyres, wheels, suspension, shock absorbers and steering Check transmission, clutch and the drive system (combustion, electric or hybrid drive) of the wheels Assess brakes on the brake tester; check saddle coupling, trailer coupling and superstructures on trucks and other commercial vehicles, replace electropneumatic parts such as valves use various testing devices, read and interpret error messages and values from control units Maintain electrical components maintain electrical drive system and its components in electric and hybrid vehicles check lighting and indicators, install additional sockets on trailers Maintain air conditioning check and maintain starter batteries check and maintain safety or comfort systems using testing devices, such as ABS, airbag or electric windows check and program navigation and multimedia systems, for example multifunction displays, sensors, navigation or audio systems. Repair and replace parts repair or replace elements of the oil, cooling, driver assistance or brake systems replace wear parts of the brake system such as brake pads repair chassis systems such as suspension and steering, replace parts check and maintain exhaust cleaning system install and remove transmissions and drive shafts, replace clutch dispose of waste in an environmentally friendly manner
