Team Leader in Construction Works

What you can make happen. • As a Team Leader, you manage the execution of multidisciplinary projects during ongoing railway operations and thus contribute to the safe, timely, and high-quality realization of the infrastructure. • You lead a team of seven people, promote competencies, and ensure clear priorities in scheduling, control, and coordination of the construction works. • Together with the Construction Execution team, you coordinate civil engineering, track, overhead lines, cables, and safe railway facilities and are responsible for the construction execution in SIA phases 51 to 53 as well as contributions in SIA phases 31 to 33 and 41. • Together with those responsible for legal and purchasing, you assist in processing financial and contractual claims from the commissioned companies, particularly in the case of defects or escalation procedures. • In exchange with internal partners from timetable and operations as well as network availability and maintenance, and with external partners such as engineering offices, construction companies, and social partners, you build sustainable cooperations and represent the program in regional committees. • As a member of the "Betrieb & Planung" directorate, you contribute to the goals of the Léman 2030 program with a holistic and cross-sectoral approach. What you bring with you. • Your professional career has imparted to you a natural leadership ability as well as strong competencies in management and team leadership. • Networked thinking, negotiation skills, and clear communication help you to plan construction processes during ongoing operations, negotiate framework conditions, and ensure productivity and capacity. • With proven experience in managing complex infrastructure projects during operation, you are familiar with most areas of civil engineering works and can analyze their risks and opportunities. • You negotiate effectively with the management of the commissioned companies to ensure compliance with contractual and financial provisions. To this end, you master procurement law (LMP/OMP) as well as the relevant standards in the construction sector. • You have a higher education (university, technical college, ETH) or an education recognized as equivalent in civil engineering, supplemented by several years of proven experience in construction and project management, especially in the execution phase. • You master French (min. C1) as well as German (min. B1).
