Logistics Specialist for Goods Inward and Packaging (M/W/D)

The company offers • A secure permanent position with a workload of 100 percent • A central role in diverse logistical processes • Collaboration in a well-established team of around 6 to 8 people • An international family-owned company with an appreciative corporate culture • Participation in a yearly public transportation subscription at 50 percent • Additional public transportation benefits in the ZVV and Ostwind transportation associations • Above-average salary continuation in case of accident or illness • Own cafeteria with affordable food options • Central workplace in the middle of Rapperswil with good public transportation connections • Shopping opportunities and restaurants in the immediate vicinity • An environment where reliability, commitment, and team spirit are valued Our client requires • Completed training as a logistics specialist EFZ • Several years of experience in warehouse logistics, packaging, and goods inward • Valid SUVA-recognized forklift license R1 is mandatory • Experience in loading and unloading as well as internal material transport • Manual skills in handling wooden packaging, boxes, or similar packaging solutions • User knowledge of SAP, ideally SAP S/4HANA • Good knowledge of common MS-Office programs • Very good German language skills at least at level C1 • English language skills are an advantage • Structured, responsible, and solution-oriented way of working • High willingness to work, reliability, and hands-on mentality What to expect • You will pack and commission orders according to specifications • You will work according to commissioning orders, packaging instructions, and quality standards • You will ensure the timely delivery of orders • You will load and unload goods with forklifts and floor conveyors • You will reliably carry out internal material transports • You will process goods inward, in particular deliveries from connected sites • You will determine the internal demand for packaging materials such as wooden boxes, pallets, and other auxiliary materials • You will create deliveries, commissioning lists, and handling units in SAP S/4HANA • You will report deviations cleanly and promptly to your supervisor • You will work flexibly in the packaging and goods inward departments • You will take on co-responsibility for the maintenance and cleaning of forklift vehicles • You will ensure a smooth, safe, and qualitatively clean material flow together with your team
