Berne, Switzerland | 80-100% (jobsharing possible) What you can contribute <br /> • Personal, financial, and specialized management of the Data, data analysis, and AI Application Services group, as well as collaboration within the IT sector management team. • Guaranteeing the continuous development and the economic, safe, and reliable operation of modern services related to data, data analysis, and AI. • Responsibility for high-quality solutions in the areas of labor market statistics, measurement of results in the cantons, and management support to cantonal authorities and unemployment funds. • Strategic development of the architecture deployed throughout the AC for services related to data, data analysis, and AI as a central single source of truth. • Promotion of innovative data-driven approaches such as predictive analytics and AI, as well as guaranteeing their use by executive bodies, steering bodies, and research. • Recording, analyzing, and client-oriented realization of requirements formulated by specialized areas into global solutions that meet needs. • Guaranteeing agreed service levels and a stable, high-performance, and future-oriented operation of applications. • Ensuring client-oriented support and global advice for business process managers and user representatives; working in close synergy with specialists. • Management of projects, supplier relations, and procurement processes. <br /> What makes you unique <br /> • Degree from a higher education institution or advanced continuing education (ES/EPD) in computer science, business informatics, or a related specialized field. • Continuing education in the field of data, data analysis, and artificial intelligence is an asset. • Several years of experience in environments related to data, data analysis, and AI, as well as in complex organizations. • Experience in management and solid strategic and conceptual skills in services related to data, data analysis, and AI as well as in the corresponding architecture. • Experience in the custom development of mission-critical applications, as well as in the design of architectures and reference solutions in their field. • Marked analytical and conceptual thinking and very good organizational, communication, and leadership skills, as well as in transformation and change projects aiming for the agile method. • Pragmatic, client- and solution-oriented personality, prioritizing service and results, capable of handling a large workload autonomously while maintaining a high level of requirements regarding the quality of services. • Openness to change and innovation, with the desire to move things forward and bring sustainable improvements within a motivated team. Solid experience and great mastery of organizational changes. • Good active knowledge of two official languages, orally and in writing, and passive knowledge of the third; English skills constitute an asset. <br /> In a few words The Labor Directorate of SECO is part of the Confederation's competence center for all central issues relating to labor market policy and unemployment insurance (AC). The Labor Market and Unemployment Insurance service center is responsible for the unemployment insurance law and the public employment service. Rattached to the IT sector, the Data, Data Analysis and AI Application Services group contributes to implementing the future strategy for data, data analysis, and AI, establishing the official labor market statistics in Switzerland every month, and implementing and operating modern services in data, data analysis, and AI. This is an essential contribution to the digital transformation of Swiss unemployment insurance.
