Department IT Manager – 90%

Within the IT team of the Department of Medicine, you are the guarantor of the proper use and proper functioning of the IT systems specific to the department. You are also the preferred interlocutor who guarantees to the DTN-IA the transmission of information on transversal software as well as in the interfacing with the department's software. You lead the IT team of the department of medicine composed of 5 people who work according to their skills as IT specialists, form designers in DPI and data managers. You ensure compliance with institutional directives within the scope of IT by collaborating closely with the DTN-IA, the Biomedical and Equipment Service, the Real Estate Department, the central purchasing office; you actively collaborate with suppliers, you manage certain projects in their entirety. The IT team manages approximately eighty software programs specific to the department. The goal is to guarantee their installation, their migration, their compliance with HUG IT security, their proper use by employees, and their potential interfacing with other institutional software. The department of medicine consists of 1'300 female and male employees with needs in IT equipment (computers, printers, accessories …) and telephony (telephone, subscriptions …). You evaluate the need taking into account the required economy. The department's IT team also manages the production implementation of new generic forms for clinical documentation in the DPI (Dossier Patient Informatisé) IT application, as well as modifications to these. You participate in numerous continuous improvement projects. You participate in the permanent bodies of the DTN-IA and in institutional commissions or project groups. You also ensure IT coordination in architectural projects of the department. You possess a Master's degree in IT completed by a DAS or MAS in management of health institutions. You have perfect mastery of the French language. You have knowledge of English or another language. You justify 3 to 5 years of previous experience in a similar position. You have tact, courtesy, and a keen sense of human relations. You possess strong resistance to stress and a recognized analytical capacity. The Department of Medicine (D-MED) is composed of 14 medico-nursing entities (12 medical services, 1 Unité d'investigation et de traitements brefs (UITB) and the Centre de transfusion sanguine (CTS)) with notably the particularity of including technical platforms in its organization (including interventional cardiology and digestive and pulmonary endoscopy), several treatment and care platforms (biological treatments, photopheresis and medicine care), 1 hospital and outpatient dialysis center, 3 rehabilitation and habilitation programs. In addition, the medico-nursing activity is strongly dedicated to inpatient patients (9 care units, 160 beds) with internal consultants for the benefit of patients managed by other medical departments. The Direction de la transformation numérique et de l’IA (DTN-IA) designs, develops, integrates, provides, and maintains the IT applications that allow the processing of information useful to the activity, functioning, and management of the hospital. It is also the department that ensures final responsibility for the HUG information system infrastructure as well as the implementation of the IT security policy. It defines the principles and the application of the enterprise architecture and deploys the IT security policy.
