The Kdo Ausb includes the Höhere Kaderausbildung, the Personelle der Armee, five training associations, the Ausbildungszentrum as well as the Fachstelle Frauen in der Armee und Diversity. One third of the approximately 2'350 employees are active in civilian professions in the scientific, technical, medical, psychological, administrative or sporting field and contribute to success together with the professional military. The Schweizer Armee employs over 9'000 employees in four military and around 200 civilian professions -- and this at 110 locations throughout Switzerland. Provision is also made for new talent: The Schweizer Armee trains apprentices in over 30 professions.
