The essence of your activity: ### • Collaboration (preparation, accompaniment, execution during medical diagnostics) e.g. residual urine determination with single-use catheter, urodynamics (bladder pressure measurement), preparation and assistance during cystoscopies. Instruction on conducting a fluid/micturition protocol, evaluation of the same. • Counseling and training in the use of aids for the promotion and maintenance of continence (handling vaginal tampons or pessaries, training in intermittent self-catheterization, adjusting absorbent material/offer). • Instruction in handling indwelling bladder catheters, drainage systems. Changing transurethral permanent catheters or suprapubic fistula catheters. • Counseling on skin care in case of incontinence, as well as for peri-/postmenopausal mucosal changes in the genital area • Documentation/collection of the therapies performed in the electronic patient record • Performance recording • Participation in the interdisciplinary pelvic floor board with urology, visceral surgery/gastroenterology and physiotherapy The basis of your performance: ### • Urotherapist with completed training at Careum Aarau or at Klinikum l.d.W. in Bremen or • APN (advanced practice nurse), nursing expert for continence promotion or • Dipl.
