Your area of responsibility We are looking for an extremely skilled and analytical personality as an Abacus Finance and Power BI Specialist (m/f/d) to strengthen our team at LGT Financial Services AG. In this key role, you will support our financial reporting and analysis with a special focus on the use of Abacus finance/controlling solutions as well as the development of meaningful Power BI dashboards. Abacus System Management: Administration, maintenance, and optimization of the Abacus system Data Extraction and Transformation: Extraction, transformation, and loading of financial data from various source systems into Abacus and other reporting platforms Report Creation and Validation: Creation of financial reports with Abacus and Microsoft Power BI, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery, as well as performing comprehensive data validations Power BI Dashboard Development: Conception, development, and maintenance of interactive Power BI dashboards for the visualization of financial key performance indicators, trends, and regulatory data Data Analysis and Insights: Conducting detailed financial data analyses, identification of trends and anomalies, as well as deriving meaningful recommendations for action to support decision-making processes Process Optimization: Proactive identification and implementation of improvements in the areas of data management, reporting processes, and system functionalities surrounding Abacus and Power BI Collaboration with Stakeholders: Close collaboration with the Finance, Risk, IT, and other relevant departments to understand reporting requirements and provide efficient solutions Documentation: Creation and maintenance of comprehensive documentation regarding Abacus configurations, Power BI reports, data models, and reporting processes User Support and Training: Support and training of end users in the use of Abacus and Power BI functionalities Your Profile Completed further education in finance, accounting, business information systems, or a comparable qualification At least 3 - 5 years of professional experience in dealing with financial data, reporting, and analysis in the financial services industry Demonstrable practical experience with accounting software, preferably with Abacus Sound experience in the development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards Proven expertise in the use of reporting software, preferably with Abacus Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables) Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI Strong analytical skills and problem-solving competence with a high level of quality and attention to detail Strong communication and teamwork skills as well as the ability to convey complex data and technical matters understandably to non-technical stakeholders Ability to work both independently and in a team in a dynamic environment Proactive, self-motivated, and result-oriented way of working with high commitment to quality and accuracy Business fluent English skills, very good German skills are a great advantage.
