Our client in the Rothrist area is looking for a motivated person as Automatiker / Schaltanlagenmonteur (m/w/d) - Raum Rothrist # Employment: 100% Location: Olten Industry: Trade/crafts general Publication date: 29.06.2026 Your main tasks • Switchgear construction: Independent wiring and equipping of switch cabinets and control systems according to schema. • Mechanical assembly: Assembly of housings, mounting plates, cable guides, and electrical components. • Testing & commissioning: Carrying out functional and quality checks as well as troubleshooting before delivery. • Modification work: Converting, expanding, and modernizing existing switchgear. • Documentation: Updating schema adjustments and recording test results. Your profile • Education: Completed vocational training as Automatiker EFZ, Automatikmonteur EFZ, or Elektropraktiker EBA (with a focus on switchgear). • Technical expertise: Secure reading and implementation of electrical schematics, circuit diagrams, and layout plans. • Forklift license: A valid SUVA forklift license is an advantage for maneuvering heavy switch cabinets. • Languages: Good spoken German skills for coordination in the production team. • Way of working: Very precise, clean way of working and a high level of quality awareness.
