Head of Maintenance Yard (100 %) Herrliberg has around 6'700 inhabitants and offers a high quality of life with its quiet location on Lake Zurich and local recreation areas. To complement our team, we are looking for, as of immediately or by arrangement, a/an Head of Maintenance Yard (100 %) As maintenance yard manager, you ensure that everything runs smoothly in the municipal area and in the maintenance yard. This ranges from daily deployment planning to winter services. You are the pivot point between the team, administration, and the population. Main tasks You lead and develop your team of six employees – both professionally and personally You plan deployments efficiently and proactively (incl. winter services) You support the Head of Civil Engineering with administrative and conceptual tasks (reports, evaluations, budget, projects, implementation of measures from various concepts) You are the contact person for internal and external stakeholders You maintain an overview of material, inventory, and orders You ensure safety in the workplace and consistently implement standards What you bring with you Joy in developing new ideas and continuously improving existing processes through creative solution approaches Your flexibility allows you to adapt yourself effectively to changed requirements, tasks, and framework conditions. Experience in leading employees Completed vocational training in a craft profession EFZ, ideally with further training You impress with a reliable way of working and the ability to proactively manage tasks and take responsibility for results.
