For the department of Cantonal Tasks Compensation Fund, we are looking for a motivated personality as a Specialist in Supplementary Benefits with a focus on system-technical tasks (80 to 100%). Specialist in Supplementary Benefits with a focus on system-technical tasks What you will be doing You will work in the demanding and dynamic environment of existence security within the 1st pillar You will be responsible, as part of a team of four, for the flawless technical functioning of the system. To this end, you will test our core application during releases and collaborate on specifications. If necessary, you will record error messages You will prepare main and intermediate payments You will be in charge of the interface to registers and resolve inconsistencies in benefit claims You will work on the extensive annual recalculation of the entire EL stock Within a maximum of 40%, you will research and assess complex personal, economic, and legal cases in applications and requests, and determine benefit claims What you should bring Several years of experience in the field of supplementary benefits or in-depth knowledge of AKIS from another social insurance field is a prerequisite for this key position A pronounced flair for technical, system-related, and process-related issues Further education in social insurance or willingness to proactively acquire missing knowledge Independence and team orientation The ability to quickly grasp complex relationships and summarize them in understandable words Professional and friendly behavior, even in hectic situations Proficient use of MS Office programs Your benefits at SVA BL A good work-life balance is important to us.
