BMS Technician / HVAC Automation Technician (M/F)

About Our Client ## My client is looking for an MCR Technician to strengthen its team dedicated to the automation and commissioning of technical installations. The position is field-oriented, technical, and operational, with a strong dimension of analysis, programming, and commissioning. The technician(ne) will work on various projects: commercial, industrial, public, or hospital buildings, and will participate in all stages of an MCR system, from the study to the final commissioning. The role requires a rigorous, autonomous, solution-oriented profile, with a solid understanding of HVACSE installations and building automation systems. Job Description ## Key responsibilities 1. Studies & preparation technical • Establish the point list according to plans, diagrams, and project requirements. • Carry out the functional analysis of HVACSE installations and the sequences to be automated. • Participate in the choice of PLCs, controllers, sensors, and regulation components. • Prepare communication architectures. 2. Automation programming • Program PLCs and controllers according to defined functionalities. • Integrate equipment into supervision networks. • Configure communication protocols: BACnet, Modbus, KNX, LonWorks, etc. • Test logic, alarms, sequences, and regulation loops. 3. Testing & commissioning • Perform point tests on-site and verify the compliance of installations. • Carry out necessary adjustments, calibrations, and corrections. • Commission MCR systems and support the startup of installations. • Identify anomalies, propose solutions, and adjust parameters. 4. Supervision & communication • Integrate and configure systems on BMS / EMS / supervision platforms. • Configure graphics, alarms, histories, dashboards. • Collaborate with project managers, electricians, and operators. The Successful Applicant ## Technical skills • Good understanding of HVACSE installations and their automation. • Mastery of PLC / MCR programming. • Knowledge of communication protocols: BACnet - KNX - LonWorks - Modbus. • Skills in BMS / EMS supervision. • Reading and interpretation of electrical and HVAC diagrams. • Knowledge of Schneider Electric EBO: a real asset.
