The Alterszentrum Gibeleich is a public institution for the care and support of the seniors of the city of Opfikon. It offers a total of 76 care places, which are distributed across the areas of long-term, transitional, and dementia care. Furthermore, the Alterszentrum Gibeleich offers a public restaurant, operates a meal service for the residents of the city of Opfikon, and supplies 11 after-school care centers.
