Active both in Switzerland and on the international market, the development of our consulting activities leads us to advertise a position for a junior engineer (m/f) in environmental hydraulics. Called upon to contribute significantly to the growth of the company, your main tasks will consist of: • performing engineering services in the field of environmental hydraulics, renaturation, and the development of lake shores, watercourses and dams; • developing preliminary studies, preliminary designs and construction designs; preparation of inquiry filings and tenders; development of 1D and 2D numerical calculations; • conducting field investigations and ensuring work supervision; • writing study reports relating to projects; • developing AutoCAD drawings of the projected structures; • presenting studies to clients and authorities; You will investigate and solve problems related to lake shores, watercourses and hydraulic structures, with interaction between different fields, such as for example hydraulics, sediment transport, environment, civil engineering, geotechnics, and socio-economic aspects. You are particularly motivated to develop projects that respect our environment. You are also comfortable in the field or on a construction site, and able to collaborate with the company, partner offices and authorities. You benefit from adequate training in the aforementioned fields. You master IT tools such as HEC-RAS (1D, 2D), AutoCAD, QGIS and Python.
