Social Worker Transitional Housing, 50 %

The transitional housing for families, individuals and couples is aimed at homeless or families facing imminent homelessness with dependent children, individuals and couples. The accommodation is limited to two years and takes place in 1- to 6-room apartments in the city of Zürich. Outpatient care is mandatory and aims at enabling integration into the free housing market. For our team in transitional housing for families, individuals and couples, we are looking for a motivated social worker due to growing demand and the further development of our offer as of 1 September 2026 or by arrangement. Tasks ## • Methodical advice and support for families, individuals and couples with different socio-cultural backgrounds • Coaching in searching for suitable housing solutions and in stabilizing the overall situation • Systematic case management as well as interdisciplinary cooperation with other specialist agencies • Mediation of applicable values and rules in living together and in cooperation • Mobile working within the framework of home visits and consultation appointments in the office Profile ## • Bachelor in Social Work (Social Worker FH) • Consulting experience in working with families and individuals • Experience in working with people in different life situations • Independent, flexible and resilient way of working as well as enjoyment of teamwork • Foreign language skills and interest in the focal topic "living space" are an advantage We offer ## In a city with very scarce living space, you support people in challenging life situations in finding stability in housing and everyday life again. Through relationship management, psychosocial counseling and close cooperation with various specialist agencies, you help support families, individuals and couples in developing new perspectives. You work in an experienced team with regular professional exchange and actively participate in the further development of the offer. Further training is specifically promoted. The work is flexibly organized - with home visits, appointments in the office and partly in the home office.
