Assistant for the Economy & Work Department 80 - 100% # With around 1400 employees, Justizvollzug und Wiedereingliederung (JuWe) is the largest office within the Direktion der Justiz und des Innern and is responsible for the execution of sentences and measures as well as for the implementation of various types of detention. Our employees from around 40 professions support and promote the reintegration of convicted people and are effectively and progressively committed to a safe and just society.   The Justizvollzugsanstalt Pöschwies (JVA) is one of eight main departments of JuWe and the largest closed facility for men in Switzerland. With around 400 detention places and approximately 300 employees, it contributes to the protection of the general public according to its legal mandate and simultaneously creates the conditions for the resocialization of the incarcerated persons.  For the Economy & Work (W&A) department, we are looking for a motivated, resilient and humorous personality as an assistant starting immediately or by arrangement. Your tasks ### • In your versatile function, you support the Economy & Work department as well as the directorate in organizational, administrative and technical matters, thereby assuming a central hub function • You carefully prepare decision-making bases, create reports and participate in the elaboration of instructions, regulations, statistics and reports • You actively participate in various specialist and project topics and accompany their implementation • You ensure the flow of information within the JVA, prepare communication topics appropriately for the target audience and coordinate media inquiries • You participate in security and crisis management and take on organizational and technical tasks • Taking minutes of various meetings as well as conducting internal surveys and evaluations also belong to your area of responsibility • You plan, coordinate and implement tours as well as larger internal and external events independently Your profile ### • A completed commercial apprenticeship EFZ as well as several years of professional experience in a comparable assistant function form your professional basis • You have excellent German language skills; further language skills are an advantage • You are very familiar with MS Office and common digital work tools and bring a high level of IT affinity • Organization comes naturally to you: Even with different topics, you maintain an overview, set the right priorities and work reliably • An independent, structured and careful way of working as well as a high degree of discretion characterize you • An impeccable record (no entries in the criminal and debt enforcement register) is required Our offer ### • A versatile and demanding activity in an extraordinary and exciting working environment awaits you • A motivated and committed management team looks forward to your support and appreciates your ideas and impulses • Own areas of responsibility and the necessary scope for design enable you to actively participate and drive your topics forward • Diverse internal and external training and further education opportunities support you in your professional and personal development • Your workplace is located at a well-connected location in Regensdorf • Attractive employment conditions according to cantonal guidelines Your application ### Sounds like a task that suits you?
