Freight Forwarding Agent - Sea, Air and Truck

Apply Initial Situation ### Our business client, a small, reliable and uncomplicated freight forwarding company, is looking for you as reinforcement in the area of Import & Export. In this function, you handle the transport from A to Z. It does not matter to you whether by sea, air or land transport - you find the right mode of transport and keep an eye on everything. Vacancy No. 6646 ## Tasks ### • organizing and processing international transports by sea, air and land • creating and checking transport, customs and transport documents • coordinating pre- and post-carriage as well as coordinating with carriers, shipping companies, airlines and customers • obtaining and comparing freight rates as well as creating offers • monitoring delivery dates, shipment status and transport processes • processing customs formalities and checking import and export regulations • processing complaints and independently solving transport-related challenges • communicating with customers, suppliers and international business partners • maintaining customer relationships (also on site) • optimizing existing processes and supporting the further development of the company Requirements ### • completed commercial training as a freight forwarding agent or commercial clerk for freight forwarding and logistics services • four to five years of professional experience in international freight forwarding • good knowledge in at least one of the areas of sea freight, air freight or land transport • subject-related good knowledge in customs matters • enjoyment of working in a small team • willingness to visit customers in Europe 2-3 times a year IT ### MS-Office - good knowledge Languages ### German: m+s very good (at least B2) English: m+s good (at least B2) Start Date ### by arrangement Work Location ### Region Zürich (Kloten, Wallisellen) Special ### Curious to learn more about the employer, the team or the tasks?
