Zollikofen, Switzerland (and home office) | 80-100% This is the contribution you can make • Lead and further develop work organization in the Federal Department of Finance EFD/BIT and assume strategic, tactical, and operative leadership of BIT projects across the department in the tax environment • Together with the work organization, be responsible for the smooth operation and further development of existing systems as well as the development of new applications and digitalization projects • Define and control Business Values and ensure stakeholder management • Coordinate higher-level collaboration in the Agile Release Train (ART) • Ensure compliance with requirements by the ART (compliance, strategy, architecture) as well as success measurement and reporting for the business unit • Function as a member of the BS leadership team and work organization and represent the BS main department at the management level towards customers and other bodies • Act as the BIT-internal representative of the work organization in higher-level planning; receive and establish strategic requirements and adjust corresponding plans • Assume financial and professional responsibility (approx. 67 MCHF, > 35 tax applications); control leadership roles of the backlog and portfolio; participate in the content creation of agreements (DLV, PVE, SLA, etc.); carry out recurring resource planning (>120 employees) with the BO Chapters and Head of Chapter <br /> This makes you unique • University degree at FH level in business administration, computer science, or comparable, as well as several years of experience in product, project, or portfolio management • Experience in the public sector (ideally federal administration) as well as good knowledge of the regulatory requirements in the federal administration is an advantage • Sound knowledge of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and HERMES • Practical know-how with agile methods (Scrum, Kanban) and the ability to translate business requirements into epics and features • Understanding of Lean Portfolio Management as well as experience in prioritizing initiatives based on Business Value • Confident appearance in negotiations and decision-making ability; understanding of data protection, security, and public procurement processes • Initiative and effective contribution; practical experience in a similar role • Good networking; understanding how to appear profitably, also at the higher management level • Live Servant Leadership; entrepreneurial mindset and responsible; manage different demands simultaneously and manage the needs of various stakeholders • Confident expression (written/oral) in two official languages; good English skills are an advantage <br /> In a nutshell For the department management (Business Unit) of the Business Solution (BS) main department, we are looking for a Business Owner who is responsible for the service delivery of the BIT to the Federal Tax Administration (ESTV) holistically and in the long term.
