This is what you can move. • As an industrial specialist technician, you perform maintenance and inspection work on our rail vehicles, thereby making an important contribution to ensuring that our customers travel with the highest possible comfort. • You diagnose complex faults in control technology, electrical and electronic units, as well as pneumatic and electromechanical systems using technical descriptions, diagrams, operating and deployment data, measuring and testing devices, and empirical values. You check the functionality of vehicles, determine repair measures, and partly carry them out yourself. • You replace components of varying complexity, test them, and perform important functional checks on systems and components. Change orders, such as conversions or modifications, are also part of your tasks. • With the help of modern IT tools, diagnostic tools, software, and control technology systems, you contribute to ensuring that the rail vehicles are on the move safely and punctually. • As an industrial specialist technician, you have the opportunity to contribute your skills and at the same time acquire new skills that will advance you professionally - both internally and externally. We are looking for employees who already have experience with rail vehicles or who have a higher professional education. This is what you bring with you. • In order for you to get to know the complex systems of our rail vehicles and to be able to carry out inspection work independently, you will undergo an internal, paid short-term training course with us of between three and six months, depending on the location. This prepares you optimally for your deployment. If you already have rail vehicle knowledge, you will only attend the courses relevant to you. • You are physically resilient for the tasks that are partly physically demanding. But don't worry, you can rely on help and support at any time. For us, cooperation and community in the team count. • Since all instructions and documentation are electronic, you have no hesitation with digital aids. • With a completed vocational apprenticeship EFZ as a mechatronics technician, electrical installer, automotive mechatronics technician, automation technician, or polymechanic with an understanding of the electrical field, you are ideally equipped for the new task. Further training to become an (electrical/electronic) technician HF (or the willingness to complete this) is an advantage for your further development. • You have very good German skills both orally and in writing and are willing to work in shift service (7 x 24 hours).
