Communication Specialist

• 15 June 2026 • 60% • Temporary • Lausanne Job description ## As a Communication Specialist within the communication unit, you contribute to the enhancement of public actions by ensuring strategic, coherent communication adapted to different audiences. You support the departmental delegate for communication in preparing speeches, developing key messages, and managing complex files, particularly in fields related to agriculture and public policies. Responsibilities ## • Manage complex and cross-functional files autonomously. Develop content, media, and channels appropriate to the information needs and communication objectives of the department • Prepare communications for the Head of Department (CDADN) and department managers (Directors General, heads of office, cantonal veterinarian or cantonal chemist, or others), particularly for files related to agriculture • Respond to media inquiries. Qualifications ## • Master's degree related to the field of activity or training deemed equivalent • Training in journalism or postgraduate and/or continuing education in institutional or public communication • Proven experience in journalism, institutional communication, and/or public relations and media. • Ease in written communication, excellent writing skills • Solid knowledge of the Vaud agricultural system WHO ARE WE? ## The General Secretariat of the Department of Agriculture, Sustainability and Climate and Digital (DADN) has the mission to support the Head of Department in her governmental activities and to provide support to services and offices in the administrative, legal, financial, economic, communication, and HR management of their files.
