Together with your team, you ensure that our track systems are professionally maintained and that tram operations continue safely and reliably. Grün ist gut. What to expect In shift operation, you ensure that maintenance work is carried out on time and in compliance with legal requirements. With clean documentation, you ensure that all work is traceable and correctly recorded. With clear planning, you organize material, tools and processes for your assignments. For maintenance, you use machines, aids and service vehicles safely and responsibly. Together with the team, you further develop processes and suggest improvements. What you bring with you Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (Eidg. Fähigkeitsausweis) in the metal industry or equivalent training. Experience with railway systems or willingness to familiarize yourself with the systems. Driver's license Cat. B or Cat. C or the willingness to acquire Cat. C. Physically, you are fit enough for work outdoors and under changing conditions. Willingness for on-call duty, night and weekend work according to operational needs. Various working time models offer you flexibility and predictability. Overtime remains the exception and is compensated. Long service award We reward loyalty with paid leave. After 5 years of service you receive 2.5 days, after 10 and 15 years 5 days, after 20 years 10 days, after 25, 30 and 35 years 15 days each and after 40 years 20 days. You have five years to take them or have them paid out. On-call duty We compensate on-call duties with CHF 3.05 per hour on working days and CHF 4.55 on Sundays and public holidays. Assignments are considered working time and we balance them with free time. The journey to the place of assignment also counts as working time. Shift planning Your shift position as well as rest and free days are fixed a whole year in advance. You know the exact assignment times at least 21 days in advance. Where the operation allows, you can choose the beginning and end of your working time flexibly.
