• 14 August 2026 • 80 - 100% • Indefinite duration • Possible • Lausanne The Lausanne labor inspection (ITL) is the enforcement body of the Federal Labor Act (LTr) and the Ordinance on Accident Prevention (OPA). It is composed of a multidisciplinary team (jurists, nurses, engineers, STPS specialists, and secretaries). The ITL monitors working conditions in companies and ensures compliance with the LTr and the OPA. It also informs workers as well as employers on matters of labor law and conducts prevention campaigns regarding occupational health protection. In order to strengthen its team, the ITL is looking for a labor inspector. At the City of Lausanne, your commitment makes sense. Main mission(s) ### Ensure compliance with provisions relating to health protection and the prevention of occupational accidents Monitor the organization of work and the prevention measures in place in companies Draft company visit reports and notify employers of any infractions Inform and advise employers on matters of occupational health protection and occupational accident prevention Propose and implement awareness and information campaigns for employers and workers Conduct audits of health and safety concepts (MSST) Proceed with the approval and examination of company plans Profile ### University, HES, or EPF Master's degree (or equivalent) in a field useful to the function STPS specialist certificate or equivalent, or willing to undergo training Minimum 3 years of professional experience in the field of health and safety Knowledge of federal labor legislation, in matters of health and safety, and social insurance (an asset) Proven skills in analysis and synthesis, sense of organization Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team Rigorous and flexible person, endowed with good interpersonal and listening skills Proficiency in MS Office tools Special conditions ### Clean criminal record Occasional work in the evening and on weekends (1 to 2 times per year) Workplace ### Place de la Riponne 10, 1001 Lausanne Salary class ### 10 Entry into function ### 1 October 2026 or to be agreed upon Information ### M.
