Windows Server Systems Engineer - Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (f/m/d) # Be your best with Bechtle ## For one of our clients in the banking sector in Geneva, we are looking for a Windows Server Systems Engineer - Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (f/m/d) responsible for driving the industrialized deployment of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint on an international Windows Server environment. Your mission #### • Analyze the existing Windows Server environment and identify the technical prerequisites for deploying Microsoft Defender for Endpoint. • Define the deployment strategy based on GPOs, PowerShell scripts, and adapted automation mechanisms. • Industrialize the server onboarding process to ensure a reliable, reproducible, and secure deployment. • Carry out the testing, validation, and deployment phases on a fleet of several hundred Windows servers. • Ensure troubleshooting, resolve technical incidents, and collaborate with international Infrastructure and Security teams. Your profile ## • Proven experience in Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022 administration, ideally in a large-scale international environment. • Very good mastery of Active Directory, GPOs, PowerShell, and automation mechanisms related to Microsoft environments. • Proven experience in deploying and administering Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, including server onboarding, as well as good knowledge of Microsoft Defender XDR. • Solid troubleshooting skills, ability to structure a diagnostic approach, and ease of collaboration with Infrastructure and Security teams. • Mastery of French and English, both spoken and written.
