Your tasks: *Overall responsibility for the technical infrastructure as well as ensuring high plant availability in slaughtering operations *Technical and personnel leadership as well as further development of the maintenance team including deployment, resource and absence planning *Ensuring reliable operation of all technical plants through maintenance, repair and rapid as well as sustainable troubleshooting *Implementation and monitoring of technical controls, in particular in the areas of occupational safety, operational safety and legal requirements *Active co-responsibility for the reduction of downtime and stoppages through preventive maintenance strategies and continuous optimization *Ensuring the procurement and availability of spare parts *Coordination and support of external partners, suppliers and fitters including planning and monitoring of external work *Ensuring clean, complete and traceable documentation of all maintenance work as well as maintenance and management of our maintenance system *Active support and participation in technical projects as well as in conversions, expansions and optimizations of the plants and infrastructure for the technical further development of the operation *Depending on profile, experience and personal development, there is also the possibility to take over the deputy position of the Head of Operations Maintenance and thus assume additional responsibility at the department level. What you bring with you: *Completed basic technical training with further advanced training in the field of maintenance *Several years of leadership and professional experience in a comparable function, preferably in an industrial production environment or in the food industry *Experience in managing technical projects as well as in dealing with investments and continuous improvement processes *Strong organizational and analytical skills combined with an entrepreneurial and economic way of thinking *High decision-making and assertiveness as well as a solution-oriented, structured and resilient way of working *No sensitivities towards blood or strong odors *Proficient use of maintenance and ERP systems, SAP is an advantage *Fluent German as well as good English skills
