• 19 août 2026 • 100% • Indefinite duration • français (Fluent) • Rte de Lausanne 2, 1033 Cheseaux-sur-Lausanne   Introduction ### In order to strengthen its road maintenance service, the Commune de Cheseaux-sur-Lausanne is looking for a passionate and motivated Landscaper.   Your mission ### Within the road maintenance service, you will contribute to the maintenance, development, and enhancement of the communal heritage. Versatile, you will actively participate in all activities of the service, including: • Maintenance of communal green spaces (lawns, flower beds, hedges, street trees, sports fields, public squares, etc.); • Carrying out plantings, floral creations, and landscape developments; • Maintenance and enhancement of the communal cemetery, respecting the sites and the users; • Participation in maintenance work on the public domain and various road maintenance tasks (signage, urban furniture, small masonry, cleaning of roads and public spaces, etc.); • Driving tractors, communal vehicles, and other machinery necessary for the execution of the work; • Use, routine care, and first-level maintenance of the service's machines, vehicles, and equipment; • Participation in winter services, notably snow removal operations and ice control; • Participation in the on-call service and interventions outside of regular hours in case of bad weather, emergencies, or communal events.   Your profile ### • Holder of a CFC in landscaping or an equivalent training; • Professional experience in a similar position, ideally within a landscaping company (creation and/or maintenance); • Good mastery of landscaping techniques, green space maintenance, and the use of gardening machinery; • Good knowledge of plants and pruning; • Ability to drive tractors and maintenance machinery; corresponding licenses are an asset; • Category B driving license indispensable (BE or higher categories appreciated); • Good physical condition and taste for working outdoors, in all seasons; • Sense of responsibility, autonomy, spirit of initiative, and ability to work in a team; • Availability, flexibility, and sense of public service.   Advantages ### • A varied and stimulating activity serving the population; • A pleasant working environment within a committed and dynamic team; • Modern equipment and possibilities for continuous training; • Working conditions in accordance with the communal personnel status and current practices.   Information for applying ### Applications that do not justify professional experience in the field of landscaping will not be considered.
