Senior Data Engineer (Kafka / Streaming)

Your tasks • Data architecture o Analysis and transformation of existing data structures o Mapping to the Swisscom Data Model • Design of Kafka Data Products o Definition of event models and data structures o Creation of Data Contracts o Concept of Kafka Topics and Best Practices • Implementation & Integration o Development of Data Products with Kafka technologies o Integration into existing systems o Ensuring productivity and scalability • Data Lifecycle Management o Automation of development, deployment, testing and monitoring o Ensuring data quality and observability Your profile • University degree or equivalent qualification with relevant practical experience • Several years of experience as Data Engineer / Streaming Specialist • Very good knowledge of: o Kafka (including Kafka Streams) o ksqlDB or Flink o Kubernetes o Elasticsearch (Search & Analytics) • Experience with event-driven architectures • Knowledge of automated Data Lifecycle (CI/CD, monitoring etc.) • Very good English skills (C2 Level) Does this sound like the right challenge for you?
