Bern | 80-100% Your contribution • Further develop the army's Host Nation Support (HNS) specialist sector within the logistics specialist sector (AFC 4) within the operations command (Cdo Op) staff, develop the relevant criteria and orders at the operational level and ensure their implementation • Plan and direct the HNS sector in the operational field and develop the criteria regarding planning and conduct of action for current and future deployments • Collaborate within the action planning groups (GPA) of the Cdo Op as well as in external working groups and project teams and represent your area of expertise from a technical point of view • Develop case studies, preliminary planning and concepts in the HNS field taking into consideration the relevant interfaces with partner organizations (UFT, USTRA, UFPP, UDSC) <br /> What distinguishes you • University diploma or university professional school diploma (bachelor) or higher technical / business administration education with 2-3 years of relevant experience for the function • Military education as a senior officer at the Large Unit level, preferably with experience on the operational level as well as good knowledge of military logistics processes • Ability to think analytically and interdisciplinarily as well as strong conceptual skills; communication and negotiation skills and team spirit • High level of leadership, organizational and social competence, ability to assert oneself, resistance to stress and individual responsibility • Good active knowledge of at least one second official language, excellent knowledge of English and passive knowledge of the third official language <br /> In summary You will ensure that Switzerland, as the host country, guarantees logistical and organizational support to foreign armed forces in the context of exercises and deployments. In this way, you will contribute directly to the operational readiness of the Swiss Army and to multinational cooperation in an operational context. You will combine operational planning, conceptual development and coordination with civilian and military partners, thereby providing a central contribution to military operational capability.
