Your tasks: Design, implement, and maintain cloud environments based on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 You monitor, manage, and optimize our cloud resources to ensure high performance, availability, and cost efficiency You support hybrid cloud architectures and the integration of on-premises systems with cloud platforms. Responsible for the implementation and operation of modern cloud security solutions such as Conditional Access, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and Microsoft Defender Management of backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions as well as support with compliance, risk, and regulatory requirements Planning and implementation of cloud migrations, upgrades, and transformation projects You conduct security assessments and implement targeted improvement measures to continuously strengthen the organization's security posture You work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure the successful provision and continuous further development of our cloud services Your profile: You have practical experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 administration, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Windows Server, Active Directory, PowerShell, and Microsoft Intune Sound knowledge of basic network technologies, especially DNS, TCP/IP, VPN, and firewalls A structured, careful, and independent way of working with a high awareness of quality Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as a strong solution orientation when dealing with complex challenges Very good communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical matters understandably High affinity for cloud technologies and the motivation to continuously develop further and discover new technologies Fluent English and very good German skills Advantageous: Practical experience in dealing with the Microsoft Defender Suite and its security solutions Experience and knowledge in the area of Azure Virtual Desktop as well as Azure Landing Zones Experience with Infrastructure as Code concepts and tools such as Terraform and Bicep Knowledge in the area of backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions as well as their use and management Experience or touchpoints with Microsoft Copilot, AI services, and other AI-based cloud technologies What awaits you at River Advice: Interesting, varied, independent tasks with a lot of personal responsibility in a fascinating, lively industry Long-term development opportunities within the UNITED WATERWAYS group Collegial, experienced team Thorough introduction to the activity We offer you a thorough introduction to the activity and a varied field of tasks in a lively industry, office premises near the SBB station in Basel, long-term development opportunities within the UNITED WATERWAYS group, as well as a collegial, international, and experienced team in an expanding company.
